LANCASTER, PA – Junior Samantha Levy of the top-ranked Johns Hopkins women's cross country team has been named the Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week for her performance on Saturday afternoon at the Paul Short Invitational.
 
Levy and the rest of the Blue Jays raced in the highly competitive Gold Race which featured many top teams from all divisions. Levy led the way with a 53rd-place finish, completing the course in 21:45, which is a new personal best time. As a team, JHU finished in ninth.
 
Johns Hopkins returns to the course on Saturday, October 13th as the team will participate in the Rowan Inter-Regional Border Battle. The race is scheduled to begin at 11 am.
