Getting On Track
« Johns Hopkins scored 41 points in the 41-0 victory over Moravian (9-20) and followed that with a 37-point effort at Dickinson and a 32-point showing at Ursinus. The Blue Jays scored at least 27 points in four straight games before F&M held the JHU to 17 in a 20-17 Diplomat victory. That game was followed by the 63-point outburst against Gettysburg (W/63-7).
« In addition to the scoring being up, the yards have started to pile up for the Blue Jays as well. After punching up 277 yards of total offense in the season-opener at Randolph-Macon, JHU has 409 (Susquehanna), 484 (Moravian), 482 (Dickinson),
350 (Ursinus) , 415 (F&M) and 682 (Gettysburg) yards in its last six games.

Tammaro Breaks Another Record
« Senior QB David Tammaro was 16-of-21 for 307 yards and three touchdowns and also rushed for 70 yards and another score in last week's win against Gettysburg. In the process, he broke another school record and reached two other milestones.
« Tammaro's final TD pass against Gettysburg was the 75th of his career, which moved him past Hewitt Tomlin (2008-11) into first place on JHU's career touchdown passes list. In addition, his 307 passing yards moved him past 9,000 for his career (9,163) and his 377 yards of total offense pushed him over 10,000 (10,074). Only Tomlin (10,481 passing yards, 10,677 yards of total offense) sits ahead of him on either of those lists at Johns Hopkins.
« Tammaro ranks third in Centennial Conference history in career passing yards, third in touchdown passes, fourth in total offense and third in touchdowns responsible for (92). With 89 rushing yards, he'll become the second player in CC history with 9,000 passing yards and 1,000 rushing yards. For his ranks in all Johns Hopkins categories, please see the charts on page 4.
Wellmann Enjoying Breakout Season, Explodes Against Gettysburg
« Sophomore wide receiver Harrison Wellmann earned Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors after he had nine receptions for 224 yards and two touchdowns in the 63-7 win against Gettysburg. He also landed a spot on the D3football.com Team of the Week for his efforts.
« Wellmann's 224 yards are the third-highest single-game total in school history and rank 15th in Centennial Conference history. He leads the team in receptions (42), receiving yards (773), TD receptions (9) and all-purpose yards per game (160.4) and is also averaging 31.1 yards per kickoff return (11-342-1). He leads the Centennial in receptions, receiving yards and yards per game (110.4), all-purpose yards per game and overall touchdowns (10) and is tied for the league lead in receiving touchdowns.
« Wellmann enjoyed one of the finest games of his career in the win at Dickinson with 298 all-purpose yards, a kickoff return for a touchdown and a then career-high 142 receiving yards.
« Wellmann's 95-yard kickoff return for a TD against the Red Devils is tied for the longest in school history and he returned three kickoffs on the day for 156 yards (52.0 yards/game). He added eight receptions for 142 yards to ring up his 298-yard all-purpose performance. For his efforts he was named the Centennial Conference Special Teams Player of the Week and his 298 all-purpose yards against Dickinson rank as the eighth-best total in school history.
« Wellmann totaled at least 100 receiving yards in three straight games (7-108-2 vs. Moravian, 8-142-0 at Dickinson, 4-106-2 at Ursinus) to become the first JHU receiver with three straight 100-yard games since Sam Wernick did it in 2010. He then had four receptions for 76 yards and one score against F&M before exploding against Gettysburg.
Kalanik Reaches 25 Sacks, 50 TFLs
« Senior defensive end Mike Kalanik posted a career-high 12 tackles, including 2.5 for losses and half a sack, in the 32-29 win at Ursinus, and came back with four tackles, including 1.5 for losses, against F&M. Â
« Playing just the first half, he had two tackles, including one for a loss against Gettysburg, and he now has 41 tackles on the season, including team highs of 12.0 TFLs and 4.0 sacks. He ranks second in the Centennial Conference with his 12 TFLs.
« With his recent efforts, Kalanik now has 175 tackles, 26.0 sacks and 56.0 tackles for losses in his career. He is the seventh Centennial Conference player since 2000 to reach 25 career sacks and the sixth CC player since 2000 to reach 50 career TFLs. He ranks third among Centennial Conference players in career TFLs since the 2000 season.

« Freshman Lance Large ranks sixth on the team in receiving with nine receptions for 105 yards.
« Freshman RB Jonas Larson ranks second on the team in rushing with 181 yards on 39 carries (4.6) and has five receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown on the year. He had three receptions for 83 yards, including a 56-yard touchdown reception, in the win against Gettysburg.Â
« Junior QB Nick Leongas was 8-of-12 for 96 yards in the win against Gettysburg and is now 10-of-14 for 108 yards on the year. In his career, he is 45-of-83 for 739 yards with four touchdowns against just one interception. He has also rushed for 388 yards and four scores.
« Senior Dane Rogerson ranks third on the team in rushing (47-169-1) and ranks fifth in receiving (13-80-0) despite missing two full games, most of another and playing sparingly against Gettysburg. Rogerson has accounted for 1,594 career all-purpose yards - third best on the team among active players.
« Sophomore TE Emmett Turner ranks third on the team in receiving with 18 receptions for 201 yards and one touchdown in seven games. He had four receptions for 69 yards and one TD against F&M; the 69 receiving yards are a career high.
« RB Luke Yakely tied his career high with two rushing touchdowns at Ursinus and now has 140 rushing yards and four TDs on the year after rushing for 31 yards and one TD against Gettysburg.
Defensive Player Notes of Interest
« Sophomore Ross Andersson had a career-high 11 tackles at Ursinus, added seven against F&M and now has 33 tackles and a team-high three INTs on the year.
« Sophomore Robert Fletcher had eight tackles and one pass breakup at Ursinus, added six tackles against F&M and five tackles, one interception and one forced fumble against Gettysburg. He now has 37 tackles, two pass breakups and two INTs on the year. He picked up the 125th tackle of his career at Ursinus and is now just 13 shy of 150.
« Senior Nick Hartman recorded the 50th tackle of his career at Ursinus, posted six tackles and forced a fumble against F&M and four tackles against Gettysburg; he ranks third on the team with 45 tackles this season.Â
« Junior Macauley Kilbane had five tackles, four pass breakups and blocked an extra point (that was returned for two points) in the win at Ursinus, added four tackles and blocked another extra-point against F&M and had three tackles against Gettysburg; he now has 27 tackles, a team-high nine PBUs and one INT on the year. He needs four tackles to reach 125 in his career. In addition, his 21 career pass breakups are third-best among Johns Hopkins players since 2000.
« Junior Kyle Roberts had a career-high nine tackles and added a personal-best two sacks at Ursinus. He now has 31 tackles, 4.0 TFLs and 3.0 sacks this season and 85 tackles, 14.5 TFLs and 7.0 sacks in his career.
« Sophomore Nick Seidel totaled seven tackles and an interception at Ursinus, four tackles against F&M and five against Gettysburg. He is tied for the team lead in tackles (47) through seven games, has two interceptions this season and needs just nine tackles to reach 100 in his career.
« Senior Corey Tull is seeing the most extensive playing time of his career and has 28 tackles this season after posting four at Ursinus, two against F&M and four against Gettysburg.
« Junior Ryan Weed notched seven tackles at Ursinus, 10 against F&M and four against Gettysburg - he is now tied with Nick Seidel for the team lead with 47 tackles on the year. He also has two interceptions and five pass breakups on the year and notched the 75th tackle of his career against F&M.
« Junior Finn Zechman counts 19 tackles and three PBUs to his credit this season. He recorded the 50th tackle of his career in the win at Dickinson.
