rd-ranked Johns Hopkins women's tennis team cruised to a 9-0 win over visiting Franklin & Marshall Tuesday afternoon.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays swept the doubles matches to take a quick 3-0 lead over the Diplomats. Sophomore
Anjie Kashyap and senior
Kimberly Zou grabbed an 8-4 win over Allison Wolters and Gavriel Rubenstein at first. Sophomore
Dhanya Asokumar and freshman
Jessica Liang won by the same score at second over Lauren Wang and Emma Wu. And at third, freshman
Evelyn Chang and senior
Katie Gauch needed just eight games to beat Alex D'Angelo and Marissa Witmer.
• Hopkins then completed the shutout with a singles' sweep, all in straight sets. Kashyap beat Wolters 6-0, 6-3 at first and Chang turned the same trick in her win over Wu at third.
• Zou defeated Rubenstein 6-0, 6-4 at second and Asokumar was a 6-1, 6-1 winner at fourth over Wang. Liang did not drop a game as she beat D'Angelo at fifth. And at sixth, Gauch clinched the win for the Blue Jays as she lost just one game in her victory over Witmer. Â

What it Means
• Hopkins evens its record against Franklin & Marshall, improving to 19-19 all-time. The Blue Jays have now won 15 straight in the series and are at .500 against the Dips for the first time since 1983, when the series was tied 4-4.
• The Blue Jays' Centennial Conference regular season win streak is now at 125 matches.
• Zou is now tied for 10
th in school history with 44 career singles wins and is tied for ninth with 47 career doubles wins. In addition, her 91 total wins are tied for eighth most in pogrom history.
