Blue Jays cap perfect weekend with three set sweep of Roger Williams

The Basics 
• Score: Johns Hopkins – 3 • Roger Williams - 0

• Location: Hoboken, N.J. • Canavan Arena
• The Short Story: Hopkins cruised to a straight-set victory over Roger Mason, capping off a 3-0 weekend in Hoboken.
How it Happened

SET ONE
• Hopkins never trailed in the opening set, helped in large part by eight errors by Roger Williams.
• Louisa Kishton led the Blue Jays with five kills in the first set, and Hopkins won eight of the final nine points to take the first set, 25-14.

SET TWO
• A pair of kills from senior Hannah Korslund opened the second frame for Hopkins, once again giving the Blue Jays a lead that they would never surrender.
• Hopkins tallied four of their nine service aces in the second set, led by two from Korslund. An ace from Kishton gave Hopkins a 25-13 win, and two set advantage.

SET THREE
• Two quick points from Roger Williams to open the third proved to be the only deficit that Hopkins would face all match.
• A 5-0 run from Hopkins with Korslund at the service line opened up a 9-5 Blue Jay advantage.
• Louisa Kishton paced Hopkins with five kills in the set.

• "I'm very proud of the heart and determination demonstrated by the team this weekend. We found a nice rhythm offensively, and saw significant progress defensively in the areas we were focusing on coming into the weekend."
