LANCASTER, PA – Senior
Andrew King of the Johns Hopkins men's cross country team has been named the Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week after earning the victory at the Mount St. Mary's Duals on Friday afternoon.
King won the race by over five seconds to help lead JHU to an undefeated day, going 6-0 overall during the dual meet. The Lutherville, MD native was the leader of an incredibly strong Blue Jay contingent during the race, with six runners finishing in the top-ten. King completed the 5K course in 15:31.93.
The Blue Jays will be back in action on September 20
th as they head to New York to compete at the Iona Meet of Champions. The event is set to begin at 10 am.
