How it Happened
• Hopkins grabbed an early lead as the Blue Jays capitalized on a penalty corner. Junior Tessa Erickson inserted the corner, which made its way around the circle to freshman Grace Nockolds. She dribbled along the end line and with a defender on her, centered the ball to senior Maddie Brown-Scherer, who one-timed the ball past Hannah Roth with 8:33 to play.
