Axel Whamond scored the game's only goal to lead the sixth-ranked Johns Hopkins to a 1-0 win over visiting Washington College Saturday afternoon.

Logan Falzarano collected a loose ball, touched it around his defender, and then dropped a pass back to freshman
Ian Whamond. He took one touch and then centered the ball to brother.
Axel Whamond one-timed a right-footed shot just inside the left post in the 20
th minute to put Hopkins on top 1-0.

What it Means
• Hopkins improves to 49-25-2 all-time against Washington College and has won six straight in the series.
• The Blue Jays push their season-opening unbeaten streak to 11, the longest since 2017. It is also tied for the second longest in school history.
