The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's swim team won seven events in a tough 13-point loss at Georgetown Friday afternoon. The Hoyas picked up a combined 32 points in the two diving events to edge the Blue Jays.

Joanna Dohrman then took second in the 1000 Free as she touched in 10:35.62. Freshman
Hannah Fu followed just three seconds later to take third place in 10:38.93.

Kristin Cornish earned the Blue Jays' first win of the day as she and classmate
Michelle Liu went one-two in the 200 Free. Cornish earned the win as she clocked in at 1:53.02 while Liu finished in 1:54.71.
• In the 100 Back, Okubo led the Blue Jays with a third-place finish and a time of 58.86. Cortez missed out on fourth place by just three-hundredths of a second as she finished in 59.28 for fourth.
• Rohovit then took second place in the 100 Breast with a time of 1:08.02. Freshman
Megan Craven finished in fourth place with a time of 1:10.01.

Emerson Davis picked up a win for Hopkins as she took the top spot in the 200 Fly, winning by nearly four and a half seconds. Senior
Elaine Lipkin followed in second place as she touched in 2:10.26.
• Alicea-Jorgensen earned a win in the 50 Free as she beat GU's Lily Gremmels by more than a second. Senior
Sophia Girgenti finished in third place with a time of 25.15.
• The Blue Jays then swept the top three spots in the 100 Free, led by Liu, who earned the win with a time of 52.52. Girgenti finished in 54.17 for second and freshman
Meg Susil placed third in 54.88.

Cameron Roche followed with a win in the 200 Back as she clocked in at 2:04.86. Okubo finished in third place as she touched in 2:06.16.
• Rohovit took second place in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:24.45. Craven followed in fourth place in 2:30.19.
• Cornish then earned her second win, and turned in an NCAA B time, as she took the top spot in the 500 Free with a 4:59.84. Lipkin touched in 5:13.22 to finish in fourth place.
• In the 200 Fly, Davis finished in second place as she touched in 58.03, while Fan placed fourth in 1:00.38.
• Okubo then placed second in the 200 IM in the final individual event of the day. She clocked in with a time of 2:11.31 while Rohovit placed third in 2:13.27.
• The Blue Jays closed out the meet with a win and third-place finish in the 200 Free Relay. Liu, Cortez, Girgenti and Alicea-Jorgensen earned the win with a time of 1:36.83. Sophomore
Makenzie Higgins, Fan, Susil and Storen finished in third place with a time of 1:40.51.
