Â
The Blue Jays struck first in transition as freshman
Maria Romo-Nichols found the far side of the net after she collected a feed from
Kacie Filian, who had taken a lead pass from
Katie Sullivan before slipping it to Romo-Nichols who blew home her sixth goal of the season in the 18
th minute.
Â
The one-goal lead held for more than 19 minutes before graduate student
Breukelen Woodard doubled the lead with her 11
th goal of season. After
Natalie Smith found
Kaleigh Gallagher on the flank, Gallagher pressured the defense to the middle before finding Woodard near the top of the box and she wasted little time ripping one home.

Rachel Jackson and
Rebecca Rosen added their ninth and 11
th goals of the season, respectively, to put the game away.

Â
Johns Hopkins will return to action on Wednesday, October 26 when the Blue Jays travel to Dickinson for a Centennial Conference game against the Red Devils (6:30 pm).
