Sara Stephenson has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Cross Country Athlete-of-the-Week it was announced today. Stephenson helped lead the fourth-ranked Blue Jays in the Division I-heavy Gold Race at the 48
th annual Paul Short Run at Lehigh last Friday (September 30).

Stephenson posted a top-90 finish in a field of more than 425 competitors as she was 88
th among scoring runners and 89
th overall after clocking in at 20:44.6. Stephenson closed strong as she jumped more than 20 spots after the two-mile mark of the race. Including the Brown and White races, Stephenson's time was the third fastest by any Division III runner on the day and, when merging the results from all three races together, her time of 20:44.6 was 90
th among more than 1,100 entries.

Johns Hopkins will return to action on October 15 when the Blue Jays split their squad and compete at both Virginia's Panorama Farms Invitational and the Rowan Border Battle.
