Barker, Carr and Cheetham Named Women's Lacrosse Captains

BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins women's lacrosse coach Tim McCormack announced today that seniors Maeve Barker and Bailey Cheetham and junior Jordan Carr have been selected as captains for the 2023 season.

"We're very excited to announce Bailey, Jordan and Maeve as our captains," McCormack said. "They have been very consistent with their approach and live our values every day. They have been incredible teammates and earned great respect from their peers. Bailey, Jordan and Maeve are also aware that they have many great leaders in the locker room that they can rely on for support and guidance throughout the year. I'm excited to see them grow and learn together alongside their teammates every day."

Barker returns after starting 18 games on attack a year ago and carries a 16-game point-scoring streak into the 2023 season.
