Jill Girardi have been named the IWLCA Mid-Atlantic Coaching Staff of the Year.
In McCormack's fourth season at Homewood, the Blue Jays reached new heights in 2026. Hopkins beat Stony Brook, 13-12, to advance to Championship Weekend for the first time in the Division I era of the program. JHU fell to eventual national champion and host, Northwestern, in the NCAA Semifinals to finish with a 17-5 record. The 17 wins are a program record, and it is just the third time since JHU moved to Division I in 1999 that it had at least 14 wins.
Hopkins produced a Tewaaraton Finalist, the IWLCA National Defender of the Year and four IWLCA All-Americans. In addition, Hopkins had the Big Ten Defender of the Year and the Midfielder of the Year while five players earned All-Big Ten honors. McCormack completed this season with a 51-29 (.638) record with the Blue Jays and is 77-46 (.626) in seven seasons as a head coach.
