Competing at the BU Invitational, the Johns Hopkins DMR jumped atop the Division III performance lists with the second-best DMR time in program history at 11:43.93. The foursome of
Sara Stephenson (3:41.43),
Ashley Tyburski (57.63),
Annie Huang (2:17.68) and
Ella Baran (4:47.18) combined to post the impressive time. The school record remains 11:40.86, set back in 2013 by Ingrid Johnson,
Megan McDonald, Maggie Shelton and Annie Monagle. The top time posted previously this season is Wartburg at 11:55.64.
Other Meet Highlights
- At the SU Invitational, Abigail Gerdes finished second in the 200, just missing out on a top-10 time in program history with a 26.67.
- Miranda Jimenez won the 3,000 at the SU Invitational, finishing with a time of 10:35.85 to outlast teammate Triya Roy (10:38.73).
- Taryn Silvernale posted a top-40 mark at the Division III level this season with a 3.43m pole vault to win the event. Silvernale posted the best indoor pole vault mark by any Blue Jay not named Annie Gutierrez or Sophia Cortazzo, surpassing Cassidy Brown's 3.40m mark from earlier this season. Miayunique South placed second in the event with a 3.30m vault.
