Thybulle Named Centennial Conference Player of the Week

BALTIMORE, MD – Johns Hopkins men's basketball junior Sidney Thybulle has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week it was announced this morning. This is his first career weekly conference honor.
 
Thybulle helped Hopkins to a pair of big wins this week, averaging 9.0 points, 11.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 80 percent from the field in just 21 minutes per game. He scored 11 points, grabbed five rebounds and added one assist, one steal and one block versus Franklin & Marshall on Tuesday night. Thybulle followed that with seven points, 18 rebounds and three assists in the win at Dickinson. Thybulle's 18-rebound performance is the highest single-game total in the CC this season. 
 
Thybulle leads the Centennial in field goal percentage (.602) and ranks second in offensive rebounds (58) and fifth in rebounds per game (6.4). He also ranks ninth in the CC in blocks (25).
 
Hopkins (18-3, 14-2 CC) returns to action on Wednesday, February 16 as the Blue Jays visit Washington College. Tip-off at Cain Athletic Center is set for 7:00 pm.
