School-Record Fifteen Blue Jays Set to Compete at NCAA Championships

BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins women's swim team will send a school-record 15 swimmers to the 2022 NCAA Championships this week. Only four schools will send more swimmers than Hopkins to the championships.
 
Hopkins has made every NCAA Division III Championships since its inception in 1982. The Blue Jays have placed in the top-15 27 times and the top-five six times. The Blue Jays finished in 13th in 2019 – the last time the championships were held. That year, 12 Blue Jays combined to earn 24 All-America honors.
 
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, both the 2020 and 2021 NCAA Championships were canceled. The 2020 championships were canceled just prior to the start  of the meet.
 
The NCAA Championships will take place at the IUPUI IU Natatorium in Indianapolis IN. The championships will begin on Wednesday, March 16 at 10:00 am with the prelims of the 500 Free. Finals are set to begin at 6:00 pm Fans can follow the championships here.
