Kellen Roddy earned two of the four wins for the Johns Hopkins men's swim team Saturday against visiting Georgetown. The Hoyas picked up the dual meet win, 163-99.
Hopkins took third place in the 200 Medley Relay in the first event of the day. Sophomore

Adam Sandid finished in 1:34.27 to finish just four-hundredths of a second behind the Hoyas.
Roddy followed with the first of his two wins on the day as he beat the field to the wall in the 1000 Free. He finished in 9:33.14 to win by more than five and a half seconds. Sandid led the Blue Jays in the 200 Free as he finished in 1:47.13 for fourth place. Lloyd then placed second in the 100 Back with a time of 52.45, only 0.11 seconds out of first place. Senior
Reef Ide placed fourth with a time of 53.55.
Limberg swam to a second-place finish in the 100 Breast as he finished in 57.97. Junior
Nathan Jin finished in fourth place with a time of 59.60. Clapp then placed second in the 200 Fly in 1:55.89 while freshman
Rad Couture finished in 1:57.01 for third place. Sophomore
Christian Mayr finished in second in the 50 Free with a time of 21.55 and senior
Jay Heymann took fourth in 22.12.
Mayr and Heymann then went two-three in the 100 Free. Mary clocked in with a time of 47.71 and Heymann followed just 0.16 seconds later. Lloyd followed with a win in the 200 Back as he edged out the Hoyas' Liam Ryan with a time of 1:54.30. Sophomore
Matthew Hartshorn finished in third place as he touched in 1:57.77.
Junior
Eric Ji took second in the 200 Breast with a time of 2:06.66. Graduate student
Brandon Stride then took third place in 2:09.73. Roddy then grabbed his second win as he took the top spot in the 500 Free in 4:37.61, winning by more than two seconds. Junior
Jonik Surprenant finished in fourth place with a time of 4:49.82.
Clapp made it two wins in a row for Hopkins as he swam to a win in the 100 Fly in 51.21. Hartshorn led the Blue Jays with a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM in the final individual event of the day. He touched in 1:57.54, missing third place by just nine-hundredths of a second.
Hopkins wrapped up the day with a second and fourth place finishes in the 200 Free Relay. Sandid, Clapp, Mayr and Heymann combined for a time of 1:25.23. Couture, Ide, sophomore

Andrew Gilbert swam a 1:28.79 for fourth place.
Hopkins returns to action next Saturday, as the Blue Jays travel to Gettysburg, PA to take on the Bullets. The meet is scheduled for a 1:00 pm start.
