GETTYSBURG, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's swim team won nine of 14 events en route to a 150.5-111.5 win over host Gettysburg Saturday afternoon. Junior

Meghan Susil then went one-two in the 1000 Free. Tuinman clocked in at 10:23.83 to take the with Susil finishing in 10:29.87. Junior
Kristin Cornish followed with a win and an NCAA B time in the 200 Free. She beat the field with a time of 1:51.57. Higgins grabbed third place as she finished in 154.54 and Rohovit placed fourth in 1:54.85.
Lan led the Blue Jays in the 100 Back as she placed third with a time of 58.61. Liu placed fourth in 59.48. Chelus followed with a second-place finish in the 100 Breast and a time of 1:05.59. Sophomore
Rachel Davis finished in third place as she touched in 1:05.90.
Petitt led the field in the 200 Fly, beating out classmate
Ayden Min for the win with a swim of 2:09.56. Min finished 0.33 seconds later for second place. Cohen then out-touched Gettysburg's Mia Yancey by two-hundredths of a second to win the 50 Free in 23.90. Higgins finished in third place as she clocked in at 24.33, while Han finished seven-hundredths of a second later for fourth place.
Watson continued the Blue Jays' winning ways as she took the top spot in the 100 Free. She touched the wall in 52.39 and was followed closely by Tuinman in 52.58. Higgins took second place in the 200 Back as she finished in 2:08.24 and Lan placed third in 2:10.17. Rohovit grabbed her first win of the day as she took the top spot in the 200 Breast. She touched in 2:19.55, an NCAA B time. Liu followed in third place with a time of 2:21.76.
Min and Han followed with a one-two finish in the 500 Free for Hopkins. Min took the win as she clocked in at 5:08.29. Han finished in second with a time of 5:14.71. Petitt earned her second win and led another one-two finish for JHU. Petitt turned in a 57.23 to win the 100 Fly with Cohen clocking in at 57.62 for second place.
In the final individual event of the day, Rohovit swam to another first-place finish. She beat the field in the 400 IM with a time of 4:36.16. Chelus finished in third place with a time of 4:42.39. Hopkins wrapped up the meet with second and third place finishes in the 400 Free Relay. Min, Cornish, Rohovit and Davis combined for a time of 3:30.05 to take second place. Liu, Cohen, Han and Watson followed in third place with a time of 3:30.53.
Hopkins returns to action in two weeks at the Bucknell Invitational, which is set for December 1-3.
