COLLEGEVILLE, PA- The Johns Hopkins women's track team won its 13th consecutive Centennial Conference title on Sunday as the Blue Jays capped the three-day event with 276 points to easily out-distance runner-up Dickinson (143). The 276 points are the third-best total in league history and just five shy of the record set by the Blue Jays in 2021.
Meet Highlights
• Junior Victoria Kadiri rolled to three individual titles on Sunday as she won the triple jump (12.50-meters), 100-meter hurdles (14.91) and 100-meter dash (12.29). With titles in the long jump and triple jump on the weekend, Kadiri was named the Outstanding Field Performer of the meet.
• Sophomore Lauren Phillips joined Kadiri as a multiple event winner on the final day of the championship as she grabbed gold in the 200-meter (24.68) and 400-meter dashes (56.02). Both of those times set Centennial Conference Championship meet records.
• Phillips also helped lead the Blue Jays' 4x100 and 4x400-meter relay teams to first-place finishes with meet-record times of 47.74 and 3:51.61, respectively. Joining Phillips on the winning 4x-100 relay were Abigail Gerdes, Ashley Tang and Kadiri, while Grace Massillon, Harrinee Senthilkumar and Anna Zaeske teamed with Phillips on the first-place 4x400 relay team.
• Phillips joined Kadiri with some individual hardware as she grabbed Outstanding Track Performer of the meet for her efforts.
• The Blue Jays grabbed 28 points in the 1500-meter run with six of the top eight finishers. Harrinee Senthilkumar grabbed 10 of those points as she crossed first in a time of 4:31.56, while Mackenzie Setton (3rd/4:40.98), Sara Stephenson (4th/4:40.98) and Camille Sawosik (5th/4:42.01) added top five finishes.
• The Blue Jays matched the 28-point effort in the 5,000 as Stephenson eased to a first-place finish (17:47.23) to lead a contingent of four JHU runners in the top five. Sydney Friedel (18:03.68) and Cooper Brotherton (3rd/18:15.22) also medaled and Caitlin O'Hehir placed 5th (18:27.86).
• Hopkins added two other top-three finishes on the final day as Sara Bartlett grabbed silver in the triple jump (11.66m.) and Kelsey Neff earned bronze in the shot put (12.10m). Bartlett's runner-up mark was the best of her career.
