CHARLOTTESVILLE, PA – The Johns Hopkins women's swimming team posted three more NCAA cuts at the Cavalier Invitational and another at the Tiger Winter Open on Saturday. In addition, the Blue Jays turned in eight career-best swims.
Hopkins kicked off day two of the Cavalier Invitational with first and second place finishes in the 200 Medley Relay. Freshman

Makenzie Higgins won the event with an NCAA qualifying time of 1:43.25. Junior

Elizabeth Cohen finished in 11
th place in the 100 Fly with a career-best swim of 56.20. Petitt followed in 14
th place, also in a career-best time, of 56.70. Min then finished in 20
th place with a career-best time of 58.71. Sophomore
Rachel Davis took fifth place in the 400 IM as she turned in a career-best swim of 4:29.81.

Alex Watson then led a quartet of Blue Jays in the 200 Free. She finished in 12
th place with an NCAA B cut and career-best time of 1:52.13. Sophomore
Claire Han placed 14
th in 1:52.94, followed by senior
Caroline Storen in 19
th (1:53.95) and Susil in 24
th place (1:58.03).
Junior
Taylor Rohovit swam to a fourth-place finish in the 100 Breast in 1:04.46. Liu followed closely in fifth (1:05.00) and Chelus in seventh (1:05.49). Lan then turned in an NCAA qualifying time and career-best swim of 56.31 to place 10
th in 100 Back. Senior
Cameron Roche finished in 16
th place in 57.53.
At Towson, junior
Kristin Cornish won the 1650 Free. She clocked in with an NCAA qualifying time of 16:51.66. It is also the seventh fastest time in program history.
Hopkins returns to action at the Cavalier Invitational on Sunday at 10:00 am with the prelims of the 200 Back.
