Victoria Kadiri has been named the USTFCCCA National and Centennial Conference Athlete of the Week following her historic performance at last weekend's Bison Outdoor Classic. This was the senior's second time being named the National Athlete of the Week after garnering her first selection following the 2023 Centennial Conference Championships.
Kadiri was a no-brainer to earn both National and Centennial recognition after breaking her own NCAA Division III record in the triple jump this past Sunday. Sitting in second place with one attempt left, the senior flew 13.43 meters to take first and shatter the previous record of 13.21 meters she set herself at the 2023 NCAA Championships. Kadiri's mark currently ranks fourth across all divisions in 2024.
The senior also impressed in the pentathlon, winning a trio of events — including a personal-best time in the 200 (25.90) — to finish with 4742 points, a mark that ranks fifth in Division III.
The Blue Jays return Friday, April 19 and Saturday, April 20 to host the Hopkins/Loyola Invitational.
