Lila Slattery has been named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week it was announced this morning. This is her first career conference player of the week honor and she is the first Blue Jay to earn the honor this season.
Slattery had a big week for the Blue Jays as she finished with three goals and two assists in a pair of wins over top-10 opponents. She had a hand in all three of Hopkins' goals in the win at fifth-ranked Messiah on Wednesday. She scored two goals and assisted on the third versus the Falcons in the 3-1 victory. Slattery followed that with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over 10
th-ranked Rowan on Saturday.
Slattery leads Hopkins with five goals and two assists for 12 points. Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, September 11 at fourth-ranked Salisbury.
