BALTIMORE, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's indoor track and field team turned in five top-five finishes while competing at the Dr. Sander Scorcher and the Widener Winter Evening Invite Friday night.
Dr. Sander Scorcher
Joshua Lee finished in fifth place in the 400m (open) as he crossed the line in 51.21.
Alex Colletti grabbed a ninth-place finish in the 400m (seeded) with a time of 50.03.
Spencer Ye followed in 12
th place and 50.49.
The DMR team of
Aiden Tomov,
Fisayo Omonije,
Evan Kelly and
Rowan Cassidy grabbed fifth place with a time of 10:10.85.
Lucas Rackers raced to a 12
th place finish in the 3000m in 8:22.35.
Sebastian Tangelson finished in 12
th place in the 60m hurdles in 9.04.
In the field,
Oluwademilade Adeniran took 12
th place in the triple jump with a leap of 13.54m.
Widener Winter Evening Invite
Tommy Li led the way for the Blue Jays as he won the 3000m with a time of 8:29.74.
Sean Enright placed sixth (8:43.23), followed by
Eli Merritt in 10
th (8:46.92) and
Lance Nicholls in 11
th (8:47.58).
Peter Murray grabbed third place in the mile as he finished in 4:19.07.
Andrew Myers finished in 11
th place with a time of 4:27.59. In the 4x400m relay, the Blue Jays took 13
th place in 3:37.60.
Peter Lim posted a height of 4.40m to place fourth in the pole vault.
Seth Wyzykowski placed seventh with a height of 4.25m.
