NEW ORLEANS, LA – Eleven members of the Johns Hopkins men's track and field team have been named to the 2025 United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III All-Academic Team it was recently announced. In addition, head coach
Bobby Van Allen's squad earned All-Academic Team honors as the team boasted a 3.63 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.

With 11 individual honorees, Johns Hopkins was one of just 12 teams nationwide to have 11 or more athletes earn All-Academic recognition.

In addition, there are more than 300 Division III schools that sponsor men's track. Johns Hopkins' 3.63 team GPA for the year was tied for 17
th best among those 300+ programs. In all, 169 teams earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team recognition. The 3.63 team GPA for the year marks the fifth consecutive year that the Johns Hopkins men's track team has posted a 3.60 GPA or better and the sixth consecutive year the team has posted a 3.55 GPA or better. In addition, this is the 15
th time in 16 years that Johns Hopkins has earned USTFCCCA All-Academic Team honors.

Criteria for Selection
Team – Cumulative team GPA of all student-athletes who used a season of eligibility during the 2024-25 academic year (indoor and outdoor seasons. Teams with a cumulative GPA of 3.1 on a 4.0 scale are eligible for selection.

Individual – A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30. Student-athletes must also meet one of the following two criteria:

• Must have finished the season among the top 50 individuals as listed on the descending order lists on TFFRS. Any athlete who competed at the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Track Championships is also eligible.
• Any individual who competed on one of the top 35 relay teams as listed on the descending order lists on TFFRS. Any athlete who competed at the NCAA Indoor or Outdoor Track Championships as a member of a relay team is also eligible. Only one relay team per institution is eligible.
