WESTMINSTER, MD – The Johns Hopkins men's track & field team competed in its penultimate meet of the regular season on Saturday at the ECAC Division III Outdoor Championships, hosted by McDaniel College, as the Blue Jays continued their pursuit of qualifying marks for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Josh Lee turned in the top performance of the day for Hopkins, posting strong finishes in both the 200-meter and 400-meter dash. Lee opened the meet with a fourth-place finish in the 200 meters, crossing the line in 22.31.
He followed with a runner-up finish in the 400 meters, clocking a personal-best 48.80. The mark ranks fifth in program history.
Samson Dessalines added a fourth-place finish in 50.81, while
Michael Long placed fifth with a time of 51.33.
Hopkins returns to action on Monday, May 11, at the Widener Final Qualifier, the Blue Jays' final opportunity to post qualifying marks for the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
