Three Earn All-America Honors, Blue Jays 17th at NCAA Outdoor Track Championships

Adeniran, Tenney, Leblond Earn All-America Honors on Final Day

LA CROSSE, WI – The Johns Hopkins men's outdoor track & field team earned three All-America performances on the final day of the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium, hosted by the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.

With the three All-America finishes on the final day, the Blue Jays close the championship with 14 points in the team standings, which earned a 17th-place finish.  The 17th-place showing is the third best in program history at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.  In addition, the three All-Americans are the most in program history.

Junior Oluwademilade Adeniran got the Blue Jays off to a quick start on the final day of the championship with a fourth-place finish in the Triple Jump.  Adeniran's top mark of 15.23-meters came on the third of his six attempts, broke the school and Centennial Conference records in the event and made him the first Blue Jay to earn All-America honors in the Triple Jump.

A short time after Adeniran's effort in the triple jump, it was freshman Caleb Tenney earning the first medal of his outdoor track career at Johns Hopkins with a third-place showing in the 1500-meter run.  Tenney clocked in a 3:46.14 to grab bronze and become the first All-American in the event in program history.  Tenney was the top freshman finisher in the event and one of just two who placed in the top 12.

Senior Emmanuel Leblond closed out his impressive career with a sixth-place finish in the 5,000-meter run as he crossed in 14:14.12 to grab All-America honors.  This is the second consecutive year that Leblond has earned All-America honors in the 5,000 as he was the national runner-up last season.  Leblond's six overall All-America finishes in track (two outdoor, four indoor) rank second in program history.

Anthony Clark closed his exceptional freshman year in track and cross country with a ninth-place finish in the 5,000; Clark finished in 14:22.95 and was one of just two freshmen among the 22 qualifiers for the event.
