LANCASTER, PA – Following a two-win week, Johns Hopkins senior
Simone Adam was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week. This is her sixth career weekly conference honor and second of the season, making her the fourth Blue Jay of the season to be recognized.
Adam powered the Blue Jays to a 2-0 week, improving their record to 16-3 with dominant sweeps over Dickinson and Ursinus. Across six sets, Adam totaled 20 kills while hitting an impressive .500, adding two assists and 11 digs on the week.
In the win over Dickinson, the senior led all players with 12 kills on a .500 hitting percentage, chipping in two assists and six digs. She followed up with another strong performance against Ursinus, posting eight kills on .500 hitting once again, along with five digs.
Hopkins returns to action on Wednesday, October 15, as it squares off against Swarthmore at 7PM inside Goldfarb Gymnasium.
