LANCASTER, PA – Following a two-win week to conclude the regular season, Johns Hopkins senior
Simone Adam was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week. This is her seventh career weekly conference honor and third of the season, making her the third Blue Jay of the season to be recognized.
Adam powered the Blue Jays to a 2-0 week to close out the regular season and secure the No. 1 seed in the Centennial Conference Tournament, including wins over Gettysburg and Muhlenberg. Across seven sets, the senior totaled 29 kills on a .354 hitting percentage and one ace to go along with seven blocks and 18 digs.
Against the Bullets, Adam tallied 14 kills and one ace, along with four blocks and 12 digs. In the straight-set win over the Mules, she registered a team-high 15 kills on an incredible .452 hitting percentage, three blocks and six digs.
Hopkins returns to action on Friday, November 14, inside Goldfarb Gymnasium, to host a Centennial Conference Semifinal matchup.
