NEWVILLE, PA – The fourth-ranked Johns Hopkins women's cross country team delivered another dominant outing on Saturday, cruising to their 17th consecutive NCAA Regional title with 42 points and securing an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.
Adriana Catalano set the pace for the Blue Jays, finishing in 21:30.78 to take second overall—just six seconds off the individual winner.
Storrie Kulynych-Irvin and
Cooper Brotherton added two more top-10 performances, as Kulynych-Irvin placed sixth in 21:57.70 and Brotherton followed in ninth with a time of 22:00.92.
Elena Blodnikar and
Ani Wedemeyer closed out the scoring for Hopkins with back-to-back finishes. Blodnikar ran 22:08.19 to take 12th overall, while Wedemeyer clocked a personal-best 22:17.41 to place 13th and complete the Blue Jays' scoring five.
Johns Hopkins returns to action on Saturday, November 22, at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Spartanburg, S.C., where the Blue Jays will aim to capture their first national title since 2022.
