LANASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins'
Ken Lee has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Swimmer of the Week it was announced today by the league. This is the third time this season that Lee has been honored by the Centennial Conference in the five weeks the league has selected a Swimmer of the Week.
Lee was Johns Hopkins' top performer at Loyola Maryland's H2ounds Invitational last weekend. Lee won the 200 backstroke in 1:59.46, breaking their own conference record that was set earlier this season, and placed third in both the 100 backstroke (56.30) and 100 butterfly (54.68).
The time Lee posted in the 200 backstroke is the best time in the nation this season in Division III, while the 54.68 in the 100 butterfly ranks second. Lee also owns the eighth-best time in the nation in the 100 backstroke at 55.81, a mark hit twice this season, including in the prelims at Loyola.
Johns Hopkins will return to action on December 5-6 when the Blue Jays host the JHU Invitational.
