Liu and Rohovit Named to CSC Academic All-America Team

AUSTIN, TX – Johns Hopkins seniors Michelle Liu and Taylor Rohovit have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's Swimming & Diving Team it was announced today. Liu was named to the first team and Rohovit garnered second team honors. The pair are the 18th and 19th swimmers in program history to earn Academic All-America honors.
 
Hopkins has now produced at least one Academic All-American in seven of the last eight years. In four of those seven years, JHU had multiple selections. The 19 women's swimming Academic All-Americans rank third among women's teams in Johns Hopkins' history.
 
Liu is the first Blue Jay to earn Firs Team Academic All-America honors since Mikayla Bisignani in 2021. She is majoring in neuroscience and this is her first Academic All-America selection. Liu earned All-America honors three times at this year's NCAA Championship and boasts 13 in her career. She holds the Johns Hopkins freshman record in the 50 Free (23.60). She boasts the ninth fastest time in school history in the 100 Breast (1:03.39) and was a member of the 200 Free Relay team with the third fastest time (1:33.26).
 
Out of the pool, Liu is a research assistant for Dr. Li at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing. She was a research technician for Dr. Osmanski at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in 2022. Liu is a volunteer with Kids Enjoying Exercise Now as well as University of Maryland Pediatrics. She is also the VP of Communications and Marketing Chair for Alpha Kappa Psi.
 
Rohovit, a computer science major, earns Academic All-America honors for the second straight year. She is one of just four swimmers to earn the honor two or more times. She earned All-America honors three times in 2025 and boasts 12 career All-America selections. Rohovit is the first First Team All-American in the 200 Breast in program history. She holds the school record in the 200 Breast (2:15.19) and holds JHU freshman records in the 100 Breast (1:03.00), 200 Breast (2:16.24) and 400 IM (4:25.10).
 
Rohovit was a software engineer intern at Fastly, Inc last summer. In 2023, she was a high-performance computing systems engineer intern at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. Rohovit is also a student employee for Johns Hopkins Athletics Game Operations.
