BALTIMORE, MD – Visiting Gettysburg won all eight contested bouts and grabbed two wins by forfeit as the Bullets knocked off host Johns Hopkins, 46-0, in Centennial Conference wrestling action in Goldfarb Gymnasium on Friday evening. The win improves Gettysburg's record to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in the Centennial, while the Blue Jays slip to 1-8 overall and 0-1 in the Centennial.

After grabbing the two forfeit wins at 125 and 133, the Bullets collected six bonus-point wins, including a pin at 197, technical falls at 141 and 157 and major decisions at 165, 174 and 184 to fuel the victory.

In the match of the night at 149 pounds, Johns Hopkins junior
Freddy Pimental led 3-1 after the first period and 7-2 after the second, only to have Gettysburg's
Jake Mitchell use an escape and two takedowns, including one in the final seconds, in the third period to force overtime. Mitchell then earned a takedown just 30 seconds into overtime to grab a 12-9 victory.

Johns Hopkins will return to action on January 28 when the Blue Jays travel to Ursinus to take on the Bears (7 pm).
