KANSAS CITY, MO – The Johns Hopkins women's soccer team will open the 2026 season exactly where it ended the 2025 campaign as the Blue Jays are ranked 15th in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll it was recently announced. The Blue Jays finished the 2025 season with a 17-5-1 record, won their Centennial Conference-record 18
th league title, including their conference-best 16
th tournament title, and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

The number 15 national ranking marks the ninth consecutive year and the 16
th time in 17 years that the Blue Jays are ranked in the preseason top 20. This marks the 91
st consecutive United Soccer Coaches Poll that features Johns Hopkins and the 212
th time that the Blue Jays have appeared in the top 25 since drawing their first-ever top-25 ranking early in the 1999 season.
