LANCASTER, PA – Johns Hopkins grabbed seven first-place votes and totaled 97 points to earn the top spot in the 2026 Centennial Conference Preseason Field Hockey Poll of the league's head coaches it was announced today. The Blue Jays grab the top spot in the poll for the seventh straight year.
Franklin & Marshall earned three first-place votes and 90 points to take the second spot in the poll. Dickinson (79 points), Swarthmore (75 points) and Ursinus (62 points) round out the top five.
Johns Hopkins won its seventh consecutive Centennial Conference title with a 4-1 win over Dickinson in the 2025 championship game. The Blue Jays advanced to the NCAA Championship game for the fourth time in five seasons and finished with a 22-2 record.
Hopkins will open the season on Tuesday, September 1 versus Lynchburg at Shenandoah University.
