- One of seven players to start all 11 games on defense for the Blue Jays.
- Led the team in tackles (81) and interceptions (4) and added 6.0 tackles for loss, two pass breakups and one sack.
- First sophomore to lead the team in tackles since Mike Milano in 2009.
- Just the third player to lead the team in tackles and interceptions since 1988.
- Opened season with a then career-high nine tackles and one interception in a 17-12 win at Randolph-Macon.
- Added nine tackles against Susquehanna and Juniata.
- Had seven tackles, including 2.5 for losses, and one interception at sixth-ranked Muhlenberg.
- Closed season with a career-high 11 tackles, one interception and one pass breakup in a 51-28 win at Stevenson in the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series.

2018
- Played in 13 of JHU's 14 games with two starts to his credit.
- Earned starts in wins against Moravian (47-3) and Dickinson (62-14).
- Posted 44 tackles, 2.5 tackles for losses, one sack and one interception.
- Ranked ninth on the team - and second among freshmen - in tackles.
- Totaled four or more tackles in eight games.
- Had a combined 17 tackles in three NCAA Playoff games (missed NCAA QF win against 23-ranked RPI).
- Posted a season-high seven tackles, including one for a loss, and had one interception in a 28-20 loss at top-ranked Mount Union in the NCAA Semifinals.  Late third-quarter INT led to a JHU touchdown that trimmed 21-6 deficit to 21-13.

At West Bloomfield
- Played football and baseball.
- Helped lead football team to a four-year record of 34-12, a state runner-up finish (2017) and two district finals appearances (2014, 2016).
- First Team All-State by the Detroit News and Detroit Free Press as a senior, when he also earned first team all-league and team defensive MVP honors.
- Totaled 143 tackles, nine interceptions, nine pass breakups, two sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.
- Detroit Free Press Honorable Mention All-State as a junior after posting 81 tackles, six interceptions, 12 pass breakups, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.  Also earned first team all-league.
- All-district and academic all-state selection in baseball.
