Johns Hopkins University Athletics

The Johns Hopkins men's lacrosse team played the 2015 season in honor of Jeremy Huber, a freshman defenseman who passed away suddenly on January 26 - less than two weeks before the 2015 season opener. The team wore commemorative patches on its uniforms and stickers on its helmets throughout the 2015 season, while Huber's #19 was painted on Homewood Field right in front of the team's bench area and remained there throughout the season. Huber's #19 jersey will not be issued again until his class graduates in 2018.

A scholarship has been established within the Peabody Conservatory in support of a student pursuing training as a pianist, something that Jeremy was also passionate about. A goal of raising $100,000 has been established. Click here to contribute to the scholarship fund.

At West Career and Technical
· Four-time Nevada All-State selection - grabbed second team honors as a freshman and first team as a sophomore, junior and senior.
· Guided team to a 73-22 record in four varsity seasons.
· Helped team to a state championship as a freshman and sophomore, a runner-up finish as a junior and a trip to the state semifinals as a senior.
· Graduated as the salutatorian of his class.
