Biography

2010: Finished third on the team in scoring with 24 goals and nine assists for 33 points • Totaled an assist in season-opening win against Manhattan and came back with four goals and one assist in the win against Delaware • Totaled one goal and one assist in the win against Siena and added a goal against Princeton • Fired home three goals and matched career high with two assists against UMBC • Matched career-high for assists again with two at Hofstra • Broke out of a scoring slump with a three-goal effort against North Carolina - included was the 50th goal of his career • Made it back-to-back three-point games with a two-goal, one-assist effort against Albany • Scored a pair of goals in the 9-8 loss to Navy and came back with two goals and one assist against Towson • Made it three straight multi-point games with a career-high-tying five goals at Loyola - five goals came on just five shots. 2009: Honorable Mention USILA All-American • Led the team in goals (34), tied for second in points (45) and tied for fourth in assists (11) • Registered at least two points in 13 of 15 games on the season and added a team-high six extra-man goals • Ranked 19th in the nation in goals per game (2.27) and 32nd in points per game (3.0) • Had five hat tricks and nine games with three or more points to his credit • Totaled 18 goals and three assists during a seven-game winning streak • Became just the third sophomore in the last 15 years to lead the team in goals (Bobby Benson (28)-2001, Kevin Huntley (30)-2006) • First Johns Hopkins player to score 30 more goals in one season than he had in the previous season since Dylan Schlott in 1998 (48 in 1998 / 8 in 1997) • Three goals vs. Siena in season opener • First Johns Hopkins player to net a hat trick in his first career start since Steven Boyle did it against Princeton in 2007 • Came back with one goal and one assist against Princeton • Posted a then career-high four points on two goals and two assists in the win over UMBC • Fired home a personal-best five goals in the win over Hofstra • Made it two straight five-point games with a two-goal, three-assist showing against second-ranked Syracuse • Scored two goals and added an assist against top-ranked Virginia and two goals against Albany • Fired home three goals and added an assist to fuel the 10-9 win over Maryland and added two goals in the 15-7 win over Navy and the 11-10 double overtime win at Towson • Scored four goals and grabbed three ground balls in the win at Mount St. Mary[apos]s • Two of his goals against the Mount were extra-man goals • Added three goals against Loyola, including two during a 5-0 JHU run in the second half that turned a 7-5 deficit into a 10-7 lead • Totaled four points on two goals and two assists in the first round of the NCAAs against Brown and added one goal against Virginia in the NCAA Quarterfinals. 2008: Scored four goals - three of which were extra-man goals • Tied for second on the team with his three extra-man goals • Fired home the first goal of his career with an EMO goal midway through the third quarter of JHU[apos]s 10-8 win over UMBC • Added a third-quarter extra-man goal against Syracuse that gave JHU a 9-6 lead • Added an EMO goal in the first quarter against Navy that was the third goal in a game-opening four-goal run • Tallied a transition goal midway through the second quarter of the national championship game against Syracuse to give the Blue Jays a 5-3 lead. At The Haverford School: Totaled 202 goals and 80 assists during four varsity seasons • Helped team to four straight Inter-Ac titles and a Pennsylvania state championship as a sophomore • Scored a career-high 69 goals as a junior and added 50 goals and 20 assists as a senior • Under Armour All-America game participant in 2007, when he was also the Delaware County Player of the Year and an All-Inter Ac and All-EPSLA selection • Also lettered in water polo and swimming • Two-time all-area and all-conference honoree in water polo.
