Biography

At Hopkins: Should start at catcher. Solid defensively with good arm and quick release. Very knowledgeable player. Hard nosed and competitive. Has some pop in bat.

2001: Made 19 starts and played in 27 games. Batted .214 with 15 hits in 70 at-bats. Also totaled nine runs, five RBIs, and four doubles. Went 2-for-2 with one run and two RBIs in a 10-9 win against sixth-ranked Montclair State. Scored two runs in a 9-0 win against SUNY-Farmingdale and in a 10-3 win versus Haverford. Threw out eight of 26 potential base stealers.

2000: Saw action in 23 games making three starts. Batted .440 with 11 hits in 25 at-bats. Totaled nine runs scored and eight RBIs. Did not make an error in 64 chances. Was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and one RBI against FDU-Madison March 15. Hit his first career home run and totaled two hits, two RBIs, and two runs scored versus Johnson & Wales March 19. Went 2-for-3 with one run scored and two RBIs against Neumann College March 26.

Personal: Also wrestled and played soccer in high school. Soccer and baseball Most Valuable Player for Gilman. Philosophy and Psychology double-major.
