Biography
2016-17: Appeared in 23 games for the Blue Jays, starting against Washington College (2/15) • finished the season with 84 points, 32 rebounds and 12 assists • scored a career-high 13 points against Bryn Mawr, shooting 3-of-4 from behind the three-point arc and making three steals (1/12).
High School: Helped Apex High School to four straight appearances in the state playoffs • First Team All-Conference and Team MVP as a junior and senior • First Team All-District and HSOT All-Tournament Team selection as a senior • Earned Academic All-Conference all four seasons • Played club basketball for NC Attack for six years • Also played volleyball, lacrosse and tennis • Earned Academic All-Conference for all three sports, most improved player for volleyball and was a top-six player for tennis • also excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society board and Spanish Honor Society • AP Scholar with Distinction, Junior Marshal, Morehead Scholarship nominee, Cougar Club Scholarship recipient, Linda Ange Memorial Scholarship recipient, IBM Watson Scholarship recipient • Also won the U.S. Marine Corps Scholastic Excellence Award, Presidential Scholar Award, News and Observer Student-Athlete of the Week Award and NC East-West All-Star Academic Award.
Personal: Elle Hepburn • daughter of David and Kari Hepburn • has two sisters, Hanna and Jade, and one brother, Luke • father David played football at the University of Florida • cousin Colin participated in track at Stanford University • taught Sunday School to elementary school children for four years • volunteered at a nursing in her hometown • worked as a lifeguard during the summer • majoring in neuroscience • plans to attend medical school.
