At Hopkins: Co-captain. Will start in center field for the Blue Jays. Has a great arm and covers a lot of ground in the outfield. Clutch hitter. Possesses good speed on the bases and power at the plate.
2001: Started 43 games and played in 45 overall. Batted .325 and led the team with 50 hits, while placing third on the team with 34 runs scored. Also totaled 20 RBIs, seven doubles, and 11 stolen bases. Collected seven consecutive hits over two games, going 3-for-3 with two runs scored versus Simpson and 4-for-4 with one run and two RBIs against SUNY-Farmingdale. Went 10-for-12 with six runs and five RBIs over a three-game stretch versus Franklin & Marshall, Dickinson, and Western Maryland. Only Blue Jay to collect four hits in a game twice. Honorable Mention All-Centennial.
2000: Started all 32 games in which he played. Missed a few games with a pulled hamstring. Collected 41 hits in 109 at-bats for a .376 batting average. Scored 27 runs and was second on the team with 45 RBIs. Totaled eight doubles, three home runs, and a team-leading 10 stolen bases. Had three or more RBIs in eight games, including five against Emory March 14 and four versus Dickinson April 7. Went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs against FDU-Madison March 15. Hit second home run of the season and totaled two runs scored and three RBIs versus Johnson & Wales March 19. Was 3-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs against Neumann College March 26. Totaled just one error in 48 chances for a .979 fielding percentage. Earned All-UAA honors and was also named second-team All-Centennial.
1999: Played in 23 games with five starts. Had seven hits, including three doubles, in 27 at-bats (.259). Went 2-for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 3-0 win over Frostburg State late in the season.
Personal: Paricipated in baseball and football in high school. Member of County Championship baseball team in 1996. Earned All-Area and All-Conference honors for baseball. Political science major.
