2006: Starter on Hopkins[apos] defense that ranked 15th in the NCAA in goals allowed per game (8.88)  established single-season highs for caused turnovers (8) and draw controls (5)  recorded one draw control and one caused turnover in season-opening 12-8 win at George Washington  recorded one caused turnover in home opener, an 8-7 win over #3 Princeton  did not miss a beat after suffering an injury against Princeton, recording one ground ball in win over Ohio  scored her first career goal in 15-7 win over Oregon in Honolulu  picked up a season-high four ground balls and had one draw control in win over American  had two ground balls in 12-9 win at #18 Penn  tallied her first assist and second point of the season in 11-8 win over #17 Vanderbilt  picked up three ground balls, caused one turnover and controlled one draw in 14-11 loss to #7 Maryland  in win at Delaware, picked up two ground balls, caused two turnovers and controlled one draw  tied a season-high with four ground balls in loss at #2 Northwestern  caused one turnover, controlled one draw and had two ground balls in win over George Mason  at #20 Penn State, picked up two ground balls  picked up three ground balls and caused two turnovers against Towson.
2005: Started all 17 games on Hopkins[apos] defense that ranked 10th in the nation in goals allowed per game (8.06)  finished season with 24 ground balls, four caused turnovers, two draw controls and two assists  recorded a career-high five ground balls and added first career assist in win at Ohio  in 13-6 win at #16 Vanderbilt, had three ground balls, one caused turnover and one draw control  picked up two ground balls in each of first two games  tallied second assist of the year in 10-8 loss to #6 Virginia in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
Personal: Sarah K. Gallion  born May 7, 1986  daughter of Tom Gallion and Kim Kries  mother, Kim, played field hockey and softball at Essex Community College  named first team all-county as a sophomore, junior and senior  first team all-metro as a senior  led C. Milton Wright to state championship in 2004 and to regional and county championships all four seasons  sociology major with minors in psychology and business.
