Biography
On the Field: Co-captain...will start on the Hopkins[apos] offense...great leader...a legitimate offensive threat with excellent dodging skills and the ability to finish in traffic...natural left-hander...unselfish player who likes to set up her teammates...has good field vision, exceptional quickness and a powerful shot...brings enthusiasm and energy to the attack...understands the offense...will be a go-to-player on attack...enters the season in sixth place on the JHU career assists list with 60 and 11th on the career points list with 159...has scored at least one point in a school-record 33 consecutive Division I games.
2001: Led the team with 21 assists, 63 points, and a 52.5 shot percentage...finished second with 42 goals...was second on the squad with 66 ground balls...finished fifth in the nation with an average of 4.27 ground balls a game, and ranked 20th with both 3.80 points per game and 1.33 assists per game...scored five second-half goals to lead the Blue Jays to an 18-12 win over Penn in the ECAC Finals...led or tied for the team lead in goals in nine of 17 games...had a season-high six points against Mount St. Mary[apos]s, Davidson, Richmond, Hofstra, George Mason, and Pennsylvania...scored five goals against Mount St. Mary[apos]s and Penn, and added four each against Davidson, Richmond, and Yale.
2000: Started every contest...ranked third on the team in points with 65 and goals with 36...led the team with 29 assists...her shooting percentage of 40.0 was tops on the squad...finished fourth on the team with 36 ground balls...won seven draw controls...posted a career-high six goals against Villanova on April 19...set a school record with seven assists in one game vs. Holy Cross on March 10...netted five or more goals in two games.
1999: Played in 13 games and finished fourth on team with 31 points on 21 goals and 10 assists...scored on 21-of-42 shots (.500), and picked up 31 ground balls...made the most of her first action, scoring three goals in game two rout of Mt St. Mary[apos]s...scored a career-high five goals and added one assist in 21-8 win over Drexel on April 10...had career-high three assists in 16-7 win over St. Joseph[apos]s on April 28.
