Biography

At Hopkins: Co-captain • will start in right field for the third straight year • outstanding power and strength • runs well for his size • hits for average and power • good eye at the plate • All-Centennial potential • needs 34 runs and 31 runs batted in to become 11th player in school history to reach 100 in both categories.

2002: Started all 36 games in which he played • batted .369 with 41 hits in 111 at-bats • third on the team in RBIs (34), fourth in runs scored (35), second in home runs (5), fourth in slugging percentage (.586) and second in on-base percentage (.475) • went 3-for-3 with four runs and three RBIs in 27-7 win over Robert Morris March 16 • crushed three-run homer versus SUNY-Brockport March 21 and belted a two-run shot in the next game versus Allegheny • was 3-for-3 with two runs and three RBIs in 10-1 win against Washington April 5 • drove in four runs in three games in the NCAA Regional Tournament • tied for third on the team with nine multiple-RBI and multiple-run games and added 10 multi-hit games.

2001: Started 34 of 36 games played • led the team in batting (.384) with 48 hits in 125 at-bats • also second on the team in home runs (7), third in RBIs (35), third in doubles (10), second in on-base percentage (.443) and second in slugging percentage (.648) • added eight stolen bases in 10 attempts and did not commit an error in 32 chances in the field • went 3-for-5 with two runs and a career-high five RBIs versus Catholic • scored three runs and added three RBIs in a 12-3 win against Swarthmore • totaled two RBIs in three straight games versus Villa Julie, SUNY-Farmingdale, and York • was 3-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs in an 8-3 win over Western New England in the NCAA Regional Tournament • tied for the team lead with 15 multiple hit games, while posting eight multiple run games and nine multiple RBI games • Second Team All-Centennial • Honorable Mention Mid-Atlantic All Region.

2000: Saw limited action as a freshman • played in seven games recording one hit in six at-bats • scored two runs and totaled four walks • recorded his first career hit in a 1-for-2 performance against Dickinson April 7 • scored one run versus Washington April 28 and one run against Haverford May 6 as a pinch runner.

Personal: Member of Northeast Pennsylvania[apos]s Baseball Dream Team in high school • hobbies include weightlifting and golf • a psychology major • hopes to attend either pharmacology or medical school as he has a strong interest in cellular and molecular biology, biochemistry, functional human neuroanatomy and pharmacology.
