Biography

At Hopkins: Had a solid sophomore season seeing time at first base and designated hitter, but shoulder surgery will prohibit him from playing this spring.

2002: Made eight starts playing in 20 games overall • batted .205 with eight hits in 39 at-bats while adding nine runs and seven RBIs • six of eight hits went for extra bases including four home runs • hit first career home run versus Johnson & Wales March 8 • crushed a two-run home run and scored twice against SUNY-Brockport March 21 • his fourth homer of the year, a three-run blast versus Villa Julie April 8, was the team[apos]s 46th of the year, which set a Hopkins record.

Personal: Also played basketball and ran track at Wolcott High School • was baseball captain as a junior and senior and Most Valuable Player as a senior • nominated for All-State team in baseball • was All-Conference selection in the shot put • plans to attend business school after graduation • majoring in economics.
