Personal: Meghan McDermott • daughter of Tom and Maria McDermott • member of National Honor Society • won SAEA Award for Citizenship and Academics • helped team to second round of district playoffs as a freshman and sophomore • named all-league selection and set team record for most defensive saves as a junior • Focus Showcase champion as a junior • earned all-league honors as a senior • also named team MVP and Best Defensive Player as a senior • played six years with Mystx Field Hockey Club • National Field Hockey tournament champions and NIT runners-up in 2012 • NOCS All-star team selection in 2012 • majoring in behavioral biology.
