2012: Saw the most extensive action of his career as he played with 10 games with four starts and totaled four goals and two assists • Made the first start of his career one to remember with two goals - both of which came in the fourth quarter - in the 10-8 win at Princeton...hadn[apos]t taken a shot in his career prior to that game • Added one goal and one assist in 11-0 win over Manhattan and duplicated that showing in 12-5 win over UMBC.
2011: Played in five games but did not register any statistics.
2010: Reserve attackman • Saw action in six games and totaled one ground ball on the year.
At Saints Peter and Paul: Standout performer in lacrosse, soccer and basketball • Earned All-Midshore and all-conference honors in lacrosse and basketball and all-conference honors in soccer • Maryland Senior All-Star in lacrosse • Helped basketball team to the MIAA 'C' Conference title.
Personal: John G. Kaestner • The son of John and Kim Kaestner • Born December 15, 1990 • Grandfather (Benjamin 'Bud' Kaestner, Jr.) and uncle (Benjamin 'Hank' Kaestner, III) both played lacrosse at Johns Hopkins, are members of the All-Time Johns Hopkins Team and the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame • Uncle was a two-time recipient of the Schmeisser Award as the nation[apos]s top defenseman (1966 & 1967) • Father played lacrosse at Maryland, was a three-time All-American and the 1972 recipient of the Turnbull Award, which is presented annually to the nation[apos]s top attackman • Oldest sister, Ashby, played lacrosse at Georgetown and was a three-time All-American, while another sister, Christie, played at Duke and was a First Team All-American • Anthropology major.
