Biography

Hopkins: Co-captain • will play both point guard and shooting guard •expected to contribute more scoring • great shooting touch with good range • versatile player • excellent passer with great floor vision •unselfish • outstanding defensive player • quiet leadership presence, leads by example • currently seventh at JHU with 261 career assists, needing 83 to move into top three • ranks first at Hopkins in career free throw percentage (80.8) and seventh in career three-point field goal percentage (30.5).

2001-02: Started all 27 games and led Hopkins in assists for the second straight season with 102 • averaged 5.5 points per game and 2.6 rebounds, while finishing third in steals (41) and fourth in three pointers (16) • Honorable Mention All-Centennial selection • averaged 3.8 assists in conference games • led team in assists in 16 games, including a career-high nine in a 73-49 win over Marymount on November 26 • registered at least four assists in 15 games • led the Centennial Conference in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.22) • scored eight points and collected six assists as Hopkins defeated Gettysburg 76-59 in the Centennial opener • set JHU single-game record for minutes played (48) in double overtime loss to Swarthmore on February 2 • scored season-high 16 points and added four assists in loss to Western Maryland on February 18.

2000-01: Started every game • led the team and Centennial Conference in assists (110) • Honorable Mention All-UAA • averaged 6.4 points per game and led Hopkins in steals (44) and free throw percentage (83.9) • led the team in assists in 17 games and recorded five or more assists in 14 contests • totaled career-highs in points (18), assists (8), and steals (5) in victory over Goucher on November 18 • scored 10 points and dished out six assists in 85-38 win over Haverford on November 29 • totaled 14 points, six assists, and three steals in win against Carnegie Mellon December 3.

1999-00: Saw action in all 27 games, averaging 11.7 minutes per game • scored 1.9 points per game and finished tied for second on the team with 49 assists • one of three players on the team to have more assists than turnovers • scored 11 points and had three steals in the second game against Haverford • recorded an assist in all but four games • totaled a season-high five assists and added four points in win against Rochester on December 11.

Personal: Touted as best point guard in WV in high school •also participated in soccer, cross country, and track in high school • First Team All-State performer in both basketball and cross country as junior and senior •Second Team All-State selection in soccer • 1,000 point scorer in basketball • psychology major with minor in entrepreneurship and management.
