Biography

Hopkins: Co-captain • tremendous versatility at off guard posistion • great shooting range • runs floor well • smooth fluid release with shot • works well with Maureen Myers providing team leadership • handles pressure very well.

2002-03: Started 14 of 19 games played • missed the first nine games with a broken finger • fifth on the team in scoring (7.6 ppg) and tied for fifth in rebounding (3.7) • second on team in three-point field goal percentage (.350, 14-40) • shot 87.5 percent on free throws (21-24) • scored at least seven points in 13 games • tallied a season-high 13 points and eight rebounds against Muhlenberg on February 8 • passed the 500 point mark for her career with 12 points against Hunter in the NCAA First Round.

2001-02: Started three games and played in 23 • averaged 17.7 minutes per game • third on the team in scoring (8.8), fourth in rebounding (3.8), third in blocks (11), and third in three pointers (16) • added 24 assists and 16 steals • averaged 10.2 points and shot 47.3 percent (44-of-93) in Centennial games • posted 11 double-digit scoring games and led the Blue Jays in scoring four times • scored at least seven points in 17 of 23 games • totaled 18 points and seven rebounds in JHU[apos]s 104-38 win over Goucher on November 20 • totaled 10 points, six rebounds, and a team-high four assists versus DeSales on December 1 • scored 18 points and added four rebounds in just 19 minutes of 81-56 win over Washington on January 8 • tallied 13 points, five rebounds, and five assists in 67-63 win versus Western Maryland on January 19 • scored 12 points and collected five rebounds against Gettysburg on January 30.

2000-01: Made 15 starts in 24 games played • finished fourth on the team in scoring (6.9) and fifth on the squad in rebounding (3.9) • was also fifth on the team in assists (27) and free throw percentage (72.5) • scored a career-high 19 points in a 70-52 victory against Chicago on January 14 • totaled five or more rebounds in nine games, including nine rebounds in three contests • scored 12 points and added seven rebounds in a three-point win versus Western Maryland on January 20 • followed that with 12 points and five rebounds in a loss to Franklin & Marshall on January 24 • scored a team-high 16 points against Bryn Mawr on January 29 • led the team in scoring four games and rebounding twice • averaged 9.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in the final 13 games of the season.

Personal: Also participated in soccer and track while in high school • named First Team All-League for basketball and is in the record books for points per game average and free throw percentage • went to the same high school as Julie Anderson, who was an All-American at JHU • hobbies include writing and skiing • international relations major.
