Trinea joins the Johns Hopkins men's and women's fencing coaching staff in 2018-19 and will coach the Foilists. 

Trinea is also the Foil coach at the Baltimore Fencing Center. A Romanian national champion, who has developed many top rated fencers in the US, she coaches youth through veteran fencers.
