Biography
At Hopkins: Co-captain will lead the Hopkins midfield this season one of the most talented players to come into the program explosive and exciting player has terrific stickwork and is equally strong with both hands has the ability to make plays at both ends of the field.
2003: Second Team All-American Lacrosse Conference selection started all 16 games led the team with 54 ground balls, while her 3.38 ground balls per game ranked fourth in the league sixth in the ALC with 1.00 assists per game ranked second on the team with 24 goals, 16 assists, 40 points and 24 caused turnovers tied for third with 18 draw controls scored goals in all but three games scored four goals and added two assists for a season-high six points while adding six ground balls in the 12-2 win over No. 14 North Carolina on April 27 recorded three goals and two assists for a team-best five points in the 12-7 victory over William & Mary on March 8 had three goals and an assist in wins over Ohio University, Davidson and Villanova recorded two assists, five ground balls, four draw controls and three caused turnovers in the season-finale at George Mason.
2002: Warrior/Inside Lacrosse Third Team All-American named to ALC All-Conference Team started all 18 games in the JHU midfield tied for the team lead with 47 goals and ranked third with 57 points led Hopkins with 71 ground balls, was second with 33 caused turnovers and finished third with 17 draw controls led the league and finished ninth in the country with 3.94 ground balls per game fourth in the conference and tied for 27th in the nation with 2.61 goals per game seventh in the ALC with 3.17 points per game and 1.83 caused turnovers per game set JHU Division I record by scoring eight goals in the 23-11 win over Ohio on March 17 also recorded two assists to tie the school D-I record with 10 points scored the game[apos]s final two goals in the 11-9 win at William & Mary on March 9 had five goals vs. Richmond and Villanova recorded a career-high three assists vs. Cornell on May 4 had season-highs of eight ground balls and four caused turnovers vs. Vanderbilt on February 24 only JHU player to score a goal in every game.
2001: Finished third on the team with 46 points on 41 goals and five assists started all 17 games led or tied for the team lead in scoring in seven games ranked third on the squad by collecting 63 ground balls led the midfielders in goals and assists scored a then-career-high five goals on April 25 vs. Towson led the team with two goals against top-ranked Maryland led the Blue Jays with two goals and one assist against Duke on March 23 recorded a season-high two assists on April 28 vs. Yale named the team[apos]s Rookie of the Year and Midfielder of the Year.
Personal: Heidi L. Pearce born February 28, 1982 daughter of Mike and Holly Pearce two-time Delaware Player of the Year named a lacrosse All-American earned first team all-conference and all-state honors led St. Andrew[apos]s to two state titles received coach[apos]s award garnered several MVP honors also played field hockey and basketball sociology major.
