Biography

On the Field: Toughest Hopkins player to defend...most explosive player on the team...has great stickwork...consistently takes on and beats double teams...very accurate shooter...wants the ball in clutch situations...true competitor...one of the quickest players on the team...poised to lead the Blue Jays during her senior season...enters the season tied for fourth on the JHU career goals list with 151...currently 10th on the career assists list with 37 and seventh with 188 career points...has recorded multi-goal games in 40 of 48 career contests and has only been shutout three times.

2001: Named Third Team IWLCA All-American, only the second Blue Jay to earn Division I All-American honors... IWLCA South Region All-America Second Team selection...finished sixth in Division I with 4.25 ground balls a game and fourth with 3.06 draw controls a game...led Hopkins with 44 goals, 72 ground balls, and 54 draw controls...set career-highs of four assists and nine points on April 18 vs. Villanova...scored the game-winning goal in overtime in a 12-11 win over Brown on March 23...scored five goals against both Villanova and Towson...added four goals vs. American and Mount St. Mary[apos]s.

2000: Started every contest...finished second on the squad in points and tied for first in goals...tied a school single-season record with 59 goals...posted second highest single-season point total with 69...led JHU for the second consecutive season with 66 draw controls...was second in ground balls with 46...scored at least one goal in 17 of 18 games, including six versus Davidson (3/18) and at Lehigh (4/1) and five at Mt. St. Mary[apos]s (3/15) and Villanova (4/19)...registered the game-winning goal in a quadruple overtime thriller against No. 16 Yale (4/29).

1999: Started all 14 games and recorded the highest scoring total by a freshman in school history...selected JHU[apos]s Rookie of the Year...finished second on team with 58 points on 48 goals and 10 assists...led Blue Jays with 55 draw controls and 52 ground balls...scored six points (4g-2a) in her second game (19-4 win over MSM)...tallied five goals in three games, including 9-8 overtime win over Towson...set career-high with six goals against Drexel.

Personal: Jamie L. Larrimore...born November 17, 1980...daughter of Clay and Dorene Larrimore...was the MVP of the field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse teams...named the Senior Athlete of the Year at Kent County in 1998...majoring in public health.
